bimota by KAWASAKI RACING TEAM
The official Kawasaki Racing Team made its move to WorldSBK in 2011 under the Provec Racing organization. Over the years, KRT has built a dominant legacy, securing multiple championships with legendary riders like Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea, who claimed six consecutive titles from 2015 to 2020.
The 2025 season is a new chapter as the team transitioned to the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team (BbKRT), marking one of the most highly anticipated entries in WorldSBK history. Unveiled at the bimota factory HQ in Rimini, Italy the team competes with the cutting-edge bimota KB998 Rimini, showcasing a bold new race livery. Returning riders are the British veteran Alex Lowes and Italian talent Axel Bassani, piloting the striking new machine, backed by key partners including Motul, Showa, and Square Bricks Offices. With a fresh identity and a revolutionary bike, BbKRT is poised to take on the competition and continue Kawasaki’s storied success at the highest level of WorldSBK.

The 2025 season marks a historic milestone for the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team as Puccetti Racing steps up to full factory status after two decades of collaboration with Kawasaki to compete at the highest level. With a new team name and new riders including American Garrett Gerloff who will pilot the Ninja® ZX™-10RR in WorldSBK, while Spaniard Jeremy Alcoba makes his WorldSSP debut aboard the new 636cc Ninja® ZX™-6R.
