An optimized continuously variable transmission (CVT) minimizes noise and vibration in the cab. Together, the in-line 4-cylinder engine and CVT create a smooth, lag-free response every time you step on the gas.

On-the-fly electrically selectable 4WD and front and rear differential locks allow you to quickly and easily switch between drive systems to suit changing terrain and conditions. Locking the front and rear differentials causes each pair of wheels to act as a single axle, giving RIDGE® XR CREW true AWD capability— especially helpful on technical terrain or when driving in mud and snow.

– 2WD offers light steering.
– 4WD delivers enhanced traction while minimizing ground disturbance.
– For maximum traction, select 4WD + differential locks.

The snorkel-style intake for the engine and CVT is located under the hood, where the chance of dust or water ingestion is minimal. A high-quality Donaldson air filter keeps debris and dust out of the engine. Plus, rear-facing exhaust ports redirect heat from the cab and a dual-wall heat shield offers further heat protection.

A premium interior fit and finish starts with standard hard roof and doors. All 4 doors have both exterior and interior latches and electric power windows. Reminiscent of a luxury SUV, an automotive-inspired dashboard with backlit switches and controls, ambient floor lighting, and other decorative components elevate RIDGE® XR CREW HVAC to a place no side x side has gone before.

RIDGE® XR CREW HVAC features a high-grade, 7-in, full-color thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD screen with multiple display modes. Built-in smartphone technology enables wireless connection, and with RIDEOLOGY THE APP* POWERSPORTS, riders get vehicle information directly from the instrument panel. Along with vehicle management and maintenance features, the Kawasaki-exclusive app has trip recording and sharing so you can share and relive your most memorable journeys.

RIDGE® XR CREW Limited HVAC comes with an 8-in Garmin Tread® off-road navigation system with Group Ride Radio, audio system, and front/rearview cameras, so you can connect with each other—and the ride—like never before.

A multitude of convenience features accommodate bigger groups in RIDGE® XR CREW HVAC side x sides: 8 large cup holders, 2 storage nets for rear passengers, additional storage under the right-side seats, a DC outlet, and 2 USB outlets in the front of the cab.

RIDGE® CREW Limited HVAC side x sides have 6 large cupholders, additional storage space under the front-right passenger seat, 2 DC outlets, and 2 extra USB outlets in the rear seats.

Electric power steering (EPS) is standard, and Kawasaki’s high-grade EPS system works best when you need it most: at extremely slow speed and when stopped. EPS also acts as a damping system, enhancing ride comfort and control.
